This Satuday, March 9, is the 7th annual Spring Craft Beer Festival at Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, New York (home to 4 time Stanley Cup Champion New York Islanders). The event features over 50 tables from commercial brewers, bars & restaurants, cider producers and even homebrewers, all offering 2 oz. pours/samples of what they have on tap. This is a great chance to try beers from a numerous breweries all in one place. We have some inside info and some beers will be available at this event for the first time in the Long Island market.

The $45 entry fee gets you your very own tasting glass that you hang onto all day and can have refilled as many times as you desire. If you get stuck being the designated driver, the entry fee is only $12 and includes a bottle of water, which is actually a good deal for a refreshment at a sports arena. There are two sessions, 12:30 pm-4:00 pm and 5:30 pm-9:00 pm, with tickets still available for each.

General Admission
The pay-one-price admission includes a 5 oz. souvenir tasting glass and the freedom to enjoy 2 oz. samples from any exhibiting brewery. There will be plenty of water and food available for purchase, special demonstrations and entertaining programs. If you really love great beer, this is the festival for you. We will keep updating the list of expected beers on our site, so check back often.

Designated Driver
Designated Driver Tickets are available for $10. A DD ticket holder will get a bottle of water. Designated drivers do NOT receive a wristband or a tasting glass and are NOT permitted to sample any beer. Any designated driver seen drinking will be removed from the festival immediately. Designated drivers must be 21+ and present valid photo ID for entry.

$45 Tickets

Spring Craft Beer Festival SESSION 2
Saturday March 9
5:30 PM – 9:00 PM
Doors: 5:00 PM
$45 Tickets

From personal experience, we would reccommend the earlier session if you are looking to sample some beers, talk with brewers/reps and see what’s new in the world of craft beer. The later session tends to get a bit wild, which also has its merits if that is the type of Saturday you are looking to have. Either way, it is sure to be a good time. We will be at both sessions at the Long Island Beer & Malth Enthusiasts table, pouring our Saint Remo Gruit Ale. So stop by, say hello (and grab a free Beer Loves Company sticker) & find a few new beers to enjoy.
